New Wicked Tour Members Announced

Natalie Daradich (Glinda) and Chris Peluso (Fiyero) join the second North American tour of Wicked when it reaches Richmond, Virginia on 10th March.  Daradich was previously understudy for Glinda and Nessarose in the Los Angeles and San Francisco productions.  Peluso was a member of the original Tour company.

The company also features Marcie Dodd (Elphaba), Marilyn Caskey (Madame Morrible), Don Amendolia (The Wizard), David de Vries (Dr. Dillamond), Zach Hanna (Boq) and Kristine Reese (Nessarose).

Meanwhile in San Francisco, Eden Espinosa returns to the role of Elphaba on 2nd March alongside Kendra Kassebaum.

Mandy Gonzalez is Broadway's new Elphaba

Mandy Gonzalez, who originated the role of Nina in In The Heights, joins the Broadway cast of Wicked as Elphaba from March 23rd.  BroadwayWorld.com has announced that she will be video-blogging from rehearsals through to her first performance.

Wicked Young Writers' Award Announced

Wicked London has announced the launch of the above award, which has been established to recognise excellence in writing and to encourage creativity in young people.  The competition is open to those between the ages of 5 and 25.  In addition the Gregory Maguire Award, for entrants aged between 17 and 25, encourages writers to follow Maguire's lead, take a famous story and examine it from a different perspective.
